Ocean Wave Blue Epoxy River Dining Table

The Ocean Wave Dining Table is shaped from matched live-edge walnut burl slabs and deep midnight-blue epoxy resin, designed to bring the movement and depth of the ocean permanently into the dining room.

Two walnut burl slabs — selected for their complex, swirling grain and organic edge profile — form the shores of a dramatic blue resin river. Within the resin, three-dimensional wave crests and sea foam are built up through a multi-stage pour technique, sculpted and suspended beneath a high-gloss clear topcoat. The result is a surface with genuine depth: the waves shift and catch light differently depending on where you stand.

Each table is crafted with attention to the resin layering, wave formation, and surface finish — a process that cannot be rushed and cannot be exactly repeated.

As walnut burl varies in figure, grain movement, and tone, and as each resin pour produces its own wave pattern, no two tables will be identical. These variations are intrinsic to the process and form part of the value of the work.
